I enjoy hiking, especially in mountainous areas that offer views of nature's beauty. The High Peaks of the Adirondack Park are a 2.5 hour drive from my home, in Montreal, so most of my hiking has been focused in this region.

In the Northeastern US I have hiked the following:

• Closing in on seven rounds of the ADK 46.
• Two winter rounds of the ADK 46 including a Single Season Winter 46.
• ADK 46 Four Season Grid (hike the ADK 46 in each season).
• New Hampshire 48.
• New England 67.
• Saranac Lake 6er Winter Ultra.
• Great Range Traverse.

Several of my trip reports refer to people with seemingly unusual names. These are 'monikers' or 'forum names' used by people who frequent the online forum of the Adirondack High Peaks Foundation. Over the years I've had the good fortune to meet dozens of like-minded hikers via the Foundation's forum.
